It finally came! After a 3 week delay due to issues in the warehouse and the ice storm a few weeks ago, my copy of Mastering the Art of French Cooking is here. No wonder Borders is on the verge of going out of business. Besides their shipping delays, I ordered this book on their website because the exact same book was 40% more expensive in their store. Why would anyone be inclined to shop with them? I had a gift card or else I would have headed to B&N or Amazon.com. Sheesh. So, I’ve decided to improve my French cooking chops. We’ll see how I fair. I have a yen to try pate a choux and all the various yumminess that can be made with it. Bring it, Julia! I’m ready.
